Winston Graham's son read from his father's book and it was so magical and wonderfully written, so I know my husband will really enjoy these books. A great gift to fill winter days. My father thought that the writing was excellent, but disliked "unrealistic" relationship between Ross and Demelza- true realists may have trouble with this. However, I feel that unconventional people have always existed..... These are beautifully written, suspense filled historical fiction novels, that would even be appropriate for teenagers (I wish I have been given these as a teenager in lieu of some of the slow moving Victorian novels!) This author is a gem! Treat yourself !
